WINTER HAVEN, FL— Pennoni’s Winter Haven, FL office is pleased to announce the addition of two Senior Engineers: Jim Hall and Don DeBerry. Jim has extensive experience in the design and implementation of systems integration and controls for municipal projects, design and construction of major pumping and mechanical systems for water and wastewater applications. He has experience in field and office management with an emphasis on team-orientation. Jim shared his excitement on joining the firm, highlighting one major project, saying, “I am most excited to be involved with the construction of the two plants in Bowling Green that I helped design, one a wastewater plant, the other a water treatment plant. It’s a good feeling to see lines on a page come to life. The other is the potential to help develop asset management programs. I have a lot of interest in this subject and can speak on many levels regarding it at this point in time. I’ve been a mechanic, a designer, and an owner, so the many aspects that involve asset management are of great interest to me.”
Before joining Pennoni, Jim was the General and Engineering Manager of operations at Rocha Controls. He was responsible for all design work, assembling of submittals, authorizing purchasing, oversight of panel shop and production, and scheduling of field and programming staff. He acted as Project Manager for all projects where Rocha Controls was the Prime Contractor.
