PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Pennoni, a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm, has hired the staff and acquired the assets of Snyder, Secary & Associates, LLC, of Harrisburg and York, PA. Effective December 31, 2021, the staff will be working in the Snyder Secary Division of Pennoni. The addition of the Snyder Secary Division strengthens Pennoni’s civil engineering, land use planning and development consulting services throughout Pennsylvania.
Founded in 2008 and recognized as a Top 50 Fastest Growing Company by Central Penn Business Journal, Snyder, Secary & Associates has been a leader in providing comprehensive land development services for commercial, residential, industrial and community projects.

Founding Partners James Snyder, PE, and Ronald Secary, PE, have joined Pennoni as principal engineers. The pair founded the firm in 2008 in Harrisburg, PA, and later opened their York, PA, office in 2015. In recent years, much of their design work has come from the commercial and industrial sectors, including large-scale logistics and distribution center projects. Both the Harrisburg and York offices will remain fully operational during the acquisition process.

The acquisition is the second of the year in Pennsylvania for Pennoni. In June of 2021, the firm announced the acquisition of Cocciardi and Associates, Inc., of Mechanicsburg and Jessup, PA.
