Sustainability & Resiliency

It’s difficult to argue that the world’s climate is not changing, and at Pennoni, we are committed to providing designs capable of addressing these perceived risks. While already deeply integrated into sustainable and resilient design practices, Pennoni continues to enhance our commitment to sustainability by utilizing new tools, training our staff, and expanding our services in sustainability and resiliency.

Our resilience comes from the relationships we forge with our clients and with each other. Working together toward a common goal, we draw strength from the diverse array of skills and experiences we bring to solve the toughest client challenges. With staff certified in Envision, WELL, and LEED, we are equipped to create projects that not only meet present needs but also support a sustainable future. By embracing innovative solutions that balance sustainability with proven methods, we ensure that our designs in every part of our practice are not only effective but also engineered to last.

EcoVadis Sustainability Platform
Pennoni reports on it’s sustainability metrics to a host of private, industrial, governmental and institutional clients. With a dedication to resilient and sustainable design services, we at Pennoni feel it’s important to set goals and key performance indicators related to environmental, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The platform evaluates organizations based on criteria such as environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. It uses a standardized scorecard to assess and benchmark companies across 21 indicators within these four categories.

EcoVadis helps organizations manage risk, improve sustainability practices, and foster transparency in supply chains by providing actionable insights and benchmarking performance against industry peers. Companies use EcoVadis to enhance their sustainability strategies, meet regulatory requirements, and improve their reputation with stakeholders. The platform also facilitates collaboration between buyers and suppliers by ensuring that sustainability performance is a key factor in procurement decisions.
