The City of Easton needed a new parking facility, intermodal transportation center, and City Hall Building for the downtown district. The intermodal portion of the project includes a three-story elevated parking structure with a capacity of 341 vehicles, along with a bus terminal on the ground floor. The bus terminal, which contains eight bus loading stations, was designed in cooperation with the Lehigh and Northampton Transit Authority (LANTA) to operate as a bus transfer station for transit passengers and intercity bus passengers. The City Hall portion of the project includea new 45,000-sf mixed-use building with City Hall offices occupying the upper two floors, and commercial space occupying the first floor.
