Ridge Pike Corridor (Montgomery County, PA)

Ridge Pike is a vital east-west arterial road connecting Pennsylvania townships to Philadelphia. As part of the second phase of the Ridge Pike Corridor Improvements, Montgomery County seeks to reconstruct Ridge Pike in the Plymouth Township from the Pennsylvania Turnpike east to Chemical Road. In addition to reconstruction, the following improvements are included in the Ridge Pike project: widening to provide sidewalks and a center left turn lane throughout the project limits, repair/replacement of the existing drainage facilities, upgrading the existing traffic signals, the replacement of Montgomery County Bridge No. 257 and the Bridge that carries Ridge Pike over Norfolk Southern Rail Lines which is maintained jointly by Montgomery County and Norfolk Southern Corporation and the replacement of PA Turnpike Bridge DB-116 over I-276. The project also includes the superstructure rehabilitation of PennDOT Bridge S-9517 which carries Ridge Pike over Plymouth Creek. Pennoni is currently providing final design services for this project.
