Delaware County, PA Chapter recognizes Pennoni Engineer
PHILADELPHIA – Pennoni a multidisciplinary engineering firm headquartered in Philadelphia, proudly announces that Megan Todaro, PE, project engineer in Pennoni’s municipal West Chester, PA office, has been named the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE) 2025 Young Engineer of the Year. This prestigious honor is awarded annually to a young professional who has demonstrated outstanding technical expertise, leadership and a commitment to community service.
Megan has played a critical role in supporting municipalities across Delaware and Chester Counties, PA. With expertise in road program management, park improvement projects and infrastructure planning, Megan helps local governments develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance their communities. Her work extends beyond engineering, as she also assists municipalities in securing crucial funding through federal, state and local grants. Additionally, Megan has contributed to Pennoni’s pavement analysis and AI-driven road assessment partnerships, helping integrate emerging technologies into municipal planning.

With a bachelor’s in civil engineering from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) Megan continued her education at Villanova University, earning a master’s in civil engineering while working full-time at Pennoni. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to mentoring young engineers and giving back to the next generation of professionals.

Beyond her professional achievements, Megan is active in her community, volunteering with her alma maters. A Springfield, PA native she is also an avid golfer, kickboxer and Philadelphia sports fan.
