Philadelphia, PA – Pennoni, a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm headquartered in Philadelphia, is delighted to announce the promotion of Jim Malanos, senior environmental manager in Pennoni’s Delray Beach, FL office to office director effective immediately.
In his new role, Malanos will be responsible for client services and business development efforts, as well as the management, growth and continued success of the Delray Beach office, in addition to existing duties as environmental manager.

With more than 30 years of environmental experience, Malanos is well versed in both the public and private sector for Pennoni’s Florida markets. His expertise includes developing site civil and structural opportunities/contracts and oversight of industrial hygiene, environmental site assessments, soil investigations, underground storage tank closures, regulatory interpretation and remediation. Malanos has assisted in data collection, design criteria, remediation and regulatory reporting for government state agencies and he has performed project management functions for various bank institutions and property developers.
