CAPE CORAL, FL – Pennoni, a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm, today announced the opening of their new office in Cape Coral, FL. The firm hired Betsie Hiatt to serve as Senior Environmental Manager out of this new 
office.

Betsie’s skills and experience as an environmental manager adds a key service to provide to our Florida clients,” said Nelson Shaffer, Regional Vice President.
Betsie has more than 20 years of professional local experience working with the sensitive environmental resources in Southwest Florida. Most recently, Betsie ran her own environmental consulting firm following a 12-year career as an Environmental Manager for the Lee County Department of Public Works. During her time with Lee County, she was responsible for overseeing environmental management of infrastructure projects for various departments including Transportation, Utilities, Parks and Recreation, Facilities Construction and Design, and County Lands.
