Evolving Capabilities
Ever-expanding with growing businesses
Access to clean water is an important aspect of everyday life. The ability to provide clean water affects the community and the environment surrounding water treatment plants. Brodhead Creek Regional Authority (BCRA) is a public non-profit water and wastewater Authority located in Monroe County, PA. Their water treatment plant was in need of an upgrade and expansion so that the facility could handle an increased demand of approximately 4.5 MGD, and the capability of handling a 12.5 MGD peak.
Pennoni completed the design, permitting, construction stormwater management and administration for the project. To protect the environment surrounding the plant, this included PA DEP Water Quality and Water Management permitting, water quality monitoring, and a PADEP stream encroachment permit. Pennoni completed the site survey and land development plans for the adjacent property.
