MTC Logistics

MTC Logistics is a cold storage and distribution center located in Baltimore, MD. The facility has made a commitment to sustainability by installing 1.5 MW of PV Solar. Pennoni was awarded Phase II of the solar installation project and provided a 100% turnkey delivery of a ballasted 880 KW system. Pennoni’s Energy Management group provides ongoing energy procurement services to the site. Pennoni designed and constructed the array with special consideration for the roof membrane and ammonia piping, which are integral to the operation and efficiency of the 9 million cubic feet of cold storage at the facility.
