It’s difficult to argue that the world’s climate is not changing, and at Pennoni we are committed to provide designs capable of addressing these perceived risks. While already deeply integrated in sustainable and resilient design practices, Pennoni continues to increase our commitment to a more sustainable future. We are achieving this commitment with the use of new tools, staff awareness, technology, key initiatives, and increased sustainability/resiliency services.
As an integral part of our strategic plan and key initiatives, we aim to consider sustainability in all aspects of our practice, while strengthening and growing our sustainability and resiliency programs. Our staff have certifications in both the Envision, WELL and LEED programs that provide the necessary tools to design sustainable and resilient projects.
EcoVadis Sustainability Platform
Pennoni reports on it’s sustainability metrics to a host of private, industrial, governmental and institutional clients. With a dedication to resilient and sustainable design services, we at Pennoni feel it’s important to set goals and key performance indicators related to environmental, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The platform evaluates organizations based on criteria such as environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. It uses a standardized scorecard to assess and benchmark companies across 21 indicators within these four categories.
EcoVadis helps organizations manage risk, improve sustainability practices, and foster transparency in supply chains by providing actionable insights and benchmarking performance against industry peers. Companies use EcoVadis to enhance their sustainability strategies, meet regulatory requirements, and improve their reputation with stakeholders. The platform also facilitates collaboration between buyers and suppliers by ensuring that sustainability performance is a key factor in procurement decisions.
